Our Story
In the early 80's 5 friends came together with hopes of creating their American dream. We opened our first "El Pollo Supremo" in March of 1982, located at 24th street and Shotwell, San Francisco.
Years passed and each friend/business partner moved away.
In 1994, we then moved our location to 5210 Mission street, San Francisco, where we currently are today.
We are family owned and operated. The chicken recipe is original and a "Top Secret." We pride ourselves in giving the best service local and freshest ingredients and best quality service & food possible.

For over 37 years, one place has stood above the rest as the best Mexican and Cuban restaurant in the Mission District/Crocker Amazon. El Pollo Supremo serves delicious and authentic Mexican and Cuban cuisine using only the highest quality ingredients and spices. From fried fish tacos to large and filling burritos, El Pollo Supremo offers it all! Enjoy delectable Mexican and Cuban cuisine at El Pollo Supremo today! We currently do not serve alcohol at our restaurant, and we have a family-friendly atmosphere.
Catering Orders
El Pollo Supremo offers catering services for all occasions. We offer both Buffet and Full Service Catering for Weddings, Quinceañeras, Baptisms, Anniversaries, Corporate Events and Parties and much more! For Full service Buffet, we need up to 2 to 3 weeks notice in advance.
Cancellation policy: Please give 24 hour cancellation advance notice for catering orders. We reserve the right to charge a fee for orders canceled in less than 24 hours. Thank you for your corporation
